2. We can only provide the partial withdrawal guide for Altitude and Altitude II, it’s for your reference only. It is subjected to FWD if any additional documents needed, so please kindly be advised to provide a policy number for further checking before submitting withdrawal request.

3. For Horizon (CIES) which is shelved already, please check with CS for the withdrawal requirement by a policy number.

Withdrawal of Policy Value and Claims Payment by Mainland Customer (Updated: 28 Jun 2018)

1. Mainland customers can now choose to collect withdrawal of policy value or claims payment by "uncrossed cheques", and cash in the uncrossed cheques at any branch of HSBC in Hong Kong.

2. The designated payee (for example, the policyowner or the beneficiary) must collect the uncrossed cheque in person at FWD Insurance Solution Centre. The maximum limit for each transaction is HK$500,000.

3. Please note that this withdrawal method is not applicable to the cancellation of new policy applications, cancellation of policies during cooling-off period, and withdrawal from Premium Deposit Account. The designated payee will also need to go to the bank in person to cash the cheque which is non-transferable.
