Third Party Payment - Blue (Ex-Aviva)

1.  According to the Anti-money Laundering Guidance Notes (GN) issued by the Office of Commissioner of Insurance (OCI), third party payment is one of the suspicious activities of money laundering and Blue should take reasonable step to impose measure.

2.  In general, Blue will not accept payment from third party, but some exceptions will be considered if the relationship between the policyholder and the payer can be established. The acceptable third party payment includes:

     Spouse

     Parents

     Daughter and/or Son

3.  The following documents will need to submit when applying the request: (Updated: 15 July 2014)

  •       Payer's identification document with certified true copy
  •       Payer's residential address proof and permanent address proof with certified true copy
  •       Proof of relationship between Payer and Proposed Policyholder
  •       Proposed Policyholder identification document with certified true copy

4.  Blue reserves the rights to request for other requirements if deemed necessary.
