The ownership of Cigna Worldwide Life Insurance Company Limited (“Cigna Life”) was transferred to the Chubb group in July 2022 and Cigna Life had been renamed to “Chubb Life Insurance Hong Kong Limited”. The policies originally under Cigna Life have already been transferred to one of the following companies: (1) Chubb Life Insurance Hong Kong Limited or (2) Cigna Worldwide General Insurance Company Limited. Meanwhile, please note that Chubb Life Insurance Hong Kong Limited and Chubb Life Insurance Company Limited are two different entities currently. To avoid using incorrect provider’s form and information, it is suggested you send Service Log to check the latest policy information. (Updated: 12 Apr 2024)
- Surrender instruction shall be submitted to Cigna within 30 business days from the signed date.
- Please provide the surrender instruction 2-3 days prior to the collection day (3rd each month) regardless of its premium due date. Otherwise, refund arrangement will be made by request and subject to approval.
- Policy contract is not required to be returned.
