  • The minimum regular withdrawal is USD1,000, HKD8,000 or GBP700 (or currency equivalent) per year. Please note that the withdrawal can only commence after completion of ICP and surrender value is available.  (Updated: 20 Sep 2018)

EIB

  • If an EIB policy takes a withdrawal with a fixed amount, there will be no limit on the requested amount. But the withdrawal amount is made subject to the policy having sufficient value and the policy value must be maintained at a 15% of initial premium.
  • The maximum allowed percentage per annum for a Regular Income Payment (RIP) for an EIB is 10% per annum and the RIP payment is deducted across each fund that the client holds.

  • When making a withdrawal or partial surrender, the amount left after the withdrawal must be at least HKD120,000 / USD 15,000 (plan currency equivalents) or twice the current surrender penalty*, whichever is greater. If following a partial withdrawal request the remaining plan value is less than the minimum stated amount then the plan will be fully surrendered and the surrender value (minus any outstanding charges) will be returned to the client.
