Important Notice

1. Consultants must register PD Corner Access ID (individual login) before signing applications and POS forms; otherwise, AIA will not process the application. To apply access ID, please refer to OnePortal > User Guide of Portal - AIA.

2. PRC Business refers to Application with at least a PRC citizen who is either

i.) the applicant (proposed policy owner); or

ii.) the insured (aged 18 or above)

3. All PRC Businesses MUST undergo "Document Verification Procedures " (hereafter, "The Procedure (認證)") in AIA Wealth Select Centres (WSC) located in Tsimshatsui (尖沙咀)

a) Only document verification and payment services are provided in the above verification centre. For POS, claims and other general enquiry services, please go to 12/F AIA Tower WSC, North Point.

b) No policy number will be provided in the verification center. Please obtain the correct and unique policy number in advance to avoid administrative error. The client might have to come to Hong Kong again for document verification if duplicated policy number is used.

Before "The Procedure (認證) "

5. illustration of [Company Copy]([公司存根]) should be submitted:

i.) If the insured is a HKID card holder, illustration can use HK rate.

ii.) If the insured is a PRC citizen, illustration must use PRC rate (choose citizen as “NONHKMACAU” in Proposal Generation System (PGS)

6. Advanced booking for "The Procedure (認證)" should be made at least 2 day in advance.

With effect from 29 Jul 2016, all appointment for "The Procedure (認證)" should be made via iBooking system in AIA website, to access iBooking system, AIA PRC license and individual login is required. For details, please refer to Guideline; Or should you have any enquires regarding iBooking system or obtaining policy number, please send service log. (Updated: 12 Apr 2024)

7. All documents must be ready before "The Procedure (認證)". Please refer to the checklist in Appendix I.

During "The Procedure (認證) "

8. A question will be asked by an AIA staff to both the consultant and the client to confirm if both the business solicitation and the application signature place is within HKSAR. (友邦職員會向顧問及客戶確認保單的銷售流程及申請書相關的簽署是否在香港特別行政區進行。)

Remarks: If the client declares any part of the policy solicitation is conducted in the territory of the PRC; or that the solicitation is not wholly conducted in Hong Kong as appropriate, the policy application submission will be rejected immediately.

9. Payment by UnionPay (銀聯付款)

If the client would like to pay the initial premium by UnionPay Card, please photocopy the first 3 pages of the application form and go to Cashier for payment. (Please refer to the Appendix II for payment details.)

After "The Procedure (認證) "

10. All documents must be returned to OnePlatform’s SOD within 5 calendar days after "The Procedure (認證)".

Remarks: Late submission may not be accepted and the client may need to come to HK for "The Procedure (認證)" again.

11. "Instant Underwriting" could be provided by AIA.

Procedures:

i.) Go to AIA WSC for "The Procedure (認證)"

ii.) Go to OnePlatform’s SOD counter

iii.) Submit all documents to SOD staff.

iv.) Submit the Deed of Undertaking (English Version) ([D8] or Deed of Undertaking (Chinese Version) ([D9]

v.) SOD staff will return all documents to consultant in a sealed envelope after checking and scanning.

vi.) The consultant has to bring this envelope back to AIA - Mailing Room (8/F, AIA Financial Centre, 712 Prince Edward Road East, Kowloon ) , Contact Person: 2881 3371 (Vinkith Ip) or 2881 3377 (Donny Yuen) on the same day

vii.) No document is required to submit to SOD again.

Appendix I - Checklist (All AIA Plans, except ILAS and U-Life product)

1. Copy of Identity Card (both sides) [MUST]
2. Copy of Passport or Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macau. 《往來港澳通行證》 [MUST]
3. Declaration from Non-Hong Kong Cardholders([D11]) (Effective on and after sign date 1 June 2017) [MUST]
4. Address Proof Address proof is not required unless it is required by AIA, or OnePlatform has to conduct further verification with the client’s identity. For PRC clients, according to the MCV guidelines, if customers declare their correspondence address is in Hong Kong, address proof is required. (Updated: 24 Oct 2017)

In case client would like to pay initial premium by cash payment with amount exceeding USD15,000 (or its HKD equivalent) for particular G-prefix policy, the client is required to complete the Declaration Form for Cash Payment and Payment Form for New Policy ([D14]).

PRC Policy Contract Delivery:

PRC Policy Contract is delivered to client directly by AIA.
