Bank Standing Order (BSO)
1. Payments can only be accepted from a bank account outside Mainland China.
2. Only accept instructions from account held with HSBC or Hang Seng Bank.
3. Any additional charge (e.g. setup fees, change of transaction amount) made by your bank for collection of your premiums will be met by the payor.
4. The client has to set up standing order instruction by themselves. Once the instruction is set up, please send a certified true copy of the instruction slip to us for our record. Please refer to Details of standing order instruction.

Personal cheque

Telegraphic Transfer (TT)
Payments can only be accepted from a bank account outside Mainland China. Please refer to Details of telegraphic transfer payment instruction.

China UnionPay Card (CUP card)
1. Client needs to prepare the below documents before coming to Zurich Customer Care Center (26/F, OIE) in person:
- Original China ID / Passport
- Original proof of address
- Original proof of entry
- Original signed illustration
- A valid CUP card with client’s name printed
- Consultant’s name card
2. Consultant must make the appointment at least one working day in advance and provide appointment details (consultant name and tel. no., no. of customer, appointment date and time, etc.):
- through email [email protected] (cut-off time 4:30pm)
- by calling Customer Care Team at 3405 7201 during office hours
3. Zurich CS will review and make a copy of the required documents. If no outstanding, Zurich CS will collect the premium via CUP card and create a policy number for this case. This will take approximately 15 to 30 minutes to complete the whole process.
Please note that no service charge will be imposed on the CUP payment by Zurich. However, the bank may apply the financial charges on the CUP transactions; therefore, please advice the client to contact the bank for the details of bank charge.
4. Once the payment process is completed, Zurich will give the customer a copy of the payment slip and one of the attached CUP flyer. (Client is required to submit a copy of the payment slip to SOD) Also, Zurich CS will provide the policy number to the consultant. Please write the policy number on the front page of the original application form when submit the original full set of application.The original full set of application to OnePlatform office within 5 business days or refund will be arranged to the client.
5. Please note that CUP payment is only applicable to initial premium for ITA and Preferred Choice.

Bank Draft
- Bank’s receipt with policy owner’s full name, full account number, transaction date and transaction amount.
- For bank draft certified by bank on the back of the draft, the wording "purchased by" is not accepted by Zurich since this does not show that the money of the draft is withdrawn from the bank account of the client. Please see the attached example
Dual currency credit Card
Please remind the clients to state ONLY one currency on the credit card mandate as the preferred currency for premium.
For Example, the plan is in HKD and the client would like to make the payment by the dual currency credit card (RMB/USD). If the client states to use RMB, then Zurich will deduct HKD from the credit card (as Zurich do not holding the exchange rate for RMB). However, if the client states to use USD, then Zurich will deduct USD with our fixed exchange rate 7.8 from his credit card.Please find the table in below for your reference.
