Payment Method - China Life

Note: Initial premium / payment is NOT mandatory. The principal will issue pending for reminding of premium settlement after underwriting decision.

1. Payment Frequency: Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-annual and Annual Mode, Prepayment 

2. Application No. or Policy No. must be written on the payment slip or back of the cheque/bank draft when submit any payment(NB or renewal payment). (Updated: 10 Jul 2019)

Initial Payment

• 3 months premiums is required for monthly payment
• If insured interest >= HKD5,000,000, please submit the premium after underwritten by China Life.
• If the payment is HKD 120,000 or above, client is NEED to provide a Source of Premium, such as copy of account statement, cheque copy
• For monthly case, the ONLY method is Direct Debit

 

Payment Method

於2024年6月30日起，以現金、支票及銀行本票繳費有以下保費來源要求：(Updated: 3 Jul 2024)

a 同一保單在過去12個月內單筆或累計繳費等於或超過港元12萬（或等值），必須提供繳費來源證明；及/或

b 同一客戶在過去12個月內單筆或累計繳費等於或超過港元40萬（或等值），必須提供繳費來源證明(如多於一筆繳費，需提供最近一次的繳費來源證明)。

支票抬頭為“中國人壽保險(海外)股份有限公司-香港分公司”OR “China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Ltd.-Hong Kong Branch”

3.  Bank-in

• 需提交入數紙，如繳付保費12萬港幣或以上，必須提供客戶保費來源，如包括賬戶號碼，賬戶持有人姓名，轉賬日期，轉賬金額等資料的賬戶副本。

4.  Bank Transfer 

• 轉帳式繳付保費 - 提供銀行轉帳 

5.  Telegraphic Transfer (電匯)

• TT transfer over HK$8,000 needs to provide the source of premium
• 匯款時請在附言中列明“保單號碼”
• 匯款收據/憑證傳真至本公司傳真至 (852) 2892-0520
• 匯款手續費自付
• 客人在銀行申請用電匯換帳時的申請書 "水單"、付款收據

6. Credit Card

     - If client visits China Life office for credit card payment, the statement (within 3 months) of that credit card (must match with the credit card number and cardholder’s name) is required

     - Credit Card Charge Form [C5] (If the credit card is VISA/MASTER, fill in 1.3%. If it is UNION PAY, fill in 1%. This is the percentage to be charged to the consultant’s commission, if applicable.) (Updated: 10 Jul 2019)

 

Subsequent Payment (Updated: 5 June 2017)

1.  By ATM (JETCO) Merchant Code: 9375

     Please choose service: “BILL PAYMENT” > “MERCHANT CODE ENTRY”

• Bill Type: 01 – Initial Premium, 02 – Renewal Premium, 03 – Policy Loan Repayment
• Bill No. : Please enter “Reference No.” printed on the top right hand corner of the Premium Notice
• Note:

        (1). Maximum payment amount per transaction is HKD120,000.

        (2). JETCO’s cut-off time is Monday – Friday 7:30 p.m. (except public holiday).

2.  Cheque

Please issue a crossed cheque payable to “China Life Insurance (Overseas) Co. Ltd. Hong Kong Branch” 支票抬頭為“中國人壽保險(海外)股份有限公司-香港分公司and state the “Reference No.” at the back of the cheque, and then mail to our Customer Service Centre at 2/F, CLI Building, 313 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

3.  Direct Debit Authorization Form ([D1]) 

Monthly payment MUST be submitted DDA form     

4.   PPS (商戶編號:9375/ Merchant Code: 9375)

• PPS By Internet: Please visit www.ppshk.com
• PPS By Phone: Please dial 18033 (Cantonese) or 18031 (English)
• Bill No.: Please enter “Bill No.” printed under your mailing address of the Premium Notice
• Note: Please allow 2 working days for the payment process.

5.  By Local Bank Internet Banking

     (1) Pay by “Local Bank HKD Credit Card”

• Merchant Name: China Life Insurance (Overseas) Co. Ltd.
• Account: Please select “HKD Credit Card”
• Bill No.: Please enter “Bill No.” printed on the Premium Notice

     (2) Pay by “Local Bank Savings/Current Account”

• Merchant Name: China Life Insurance (Overseas) Co. Ltd.
• Account: Please select Savings or Current Account
• Bill No. : Please enter “Reference No.” printed on the Premium Notice
• Bill Type: 11 – HKD Payment, 12 – USD Payment, 13 – CNY Payment

6.   上門繳費 Pay at Customer Service Centre

• 支票繳付
• 隨附繳費通知書

8.  Payment at 7-Eleven

     - Please bring along the Premium Notice to any 7-Eleven in Hong Kong for payment in cash. Note: 

     (1) Maximum payment amount per transaction is HK$5,000.00.

     (2) 7-Eleven’s cut-off time is 5pm, Monday – Friday (except public holiday). Any transactions after the cut-off time will be posted on the next working day. Please allow at least 2 working days for payment process.

9. Payment At Hongkong Post

    Please bring along the Premium Notice to any Post Office in Hong Kong for payment in cash, cheque and EPS.

     Note:

1. Cash transaction is limited to HK$ 80,000.00.
2. EPS transaction is limited to HK$ 50,000.00.
3. No limitation for Cheque transaction.
4. The cut-off time of cheque transaction is 3pm from Monday to Friday and 11am on Saturday. The cut-off time of cash/EPS transaction is 6pm, Monday to Saturday. Any transactions made on Sunday or public holiday will be processed on the next working day. Please allow at least 3 working days for payment process.

 10. FPS (Updated: 26 Sep 2023)

掃描通知書上的「轉數快」(FPS)二維碼。

• 客戶必須已開設「轉數快」(FPS)支付功能。
• 每日交易金額限額會因應個別銀行及個人戶口設定而有所不同，詳情請聯絡繳費銀行。
• 港幣及美元幣種保單，只能以港幣繳費。
• 人民幣幣種保單，只能以人民幣繳費。

• Below HKD120,000, NO need to submit additional document;
