Reinstatement - Friends

Important Notice 

1.    Reinstatement is allowed to paid up cases. Reinstatement from lapse is not an option contained the policy conditions. 

2.    Paid up means client has not settled premium for 3 months after ICP.

3.    If the policy is held in trust, then the settler of the trust should sign the form.

4.    For Premium Increase / Reinstatement a new DDA form must be submitted if a limit has been set on the original form or the original DDA has been cancelled. (updated: 9 May 2012)

Payment Method

  • Please refer to FPI > Payment Method for details.
  • To switch from BSO or other payment method to DD, a minimum notice period of 10 working days is required.
  • In case of BSO, the client must cancel the instruction directly with the bank, and submit a duly completed DDA form to FPI’s HK Office.
