Important Notes
1. If there is any premium collection rejection, please refer to the weekly "Zurich Weekly DDA Rejection Report" on Megaport of SOD & CS for any further update. (Updated: 7 Nov 2011)
2. If there is any outstanding premium of the policy, please refer to the monthly "Missing Payment Report" on Megaport of SOD & CS for any further update. (Updated: 7 Nov 2011)
3. CS will upload Outstanding Payment Report on Megaport on each 10th of each month
6. If Zurich attempts 4 times continuouslyto collect premium via the client’s bank account and are all rejected, the bank account will be on hold automatically and Zurich will stop the premium collection until receiving further instruction from client or OnePlatform. (Updated: 4 Nov 2015)
7. If Zurich attempts seven times continuously to collect premium via the client’s credit card and are all rejected, the credit card will be on hold automatically and Zurich will stop the premium collection until receiving further instruction from the client or OnePlatform. (Updated: 4 Nov 2015)
8. If the client has more than one month missing premiums, Zurich will collect one month premium on each DDA / CC run until the policy is paid up to date automatically.
For Client using DDA
3 ways to handle
By cheque payment
Please collect cheque from your client and ensure the following: (Updated: 4 Nov 2015)
- Payee name: Zurich International Life Limited. Please note that any Chinese payee names are NOT acceptable. If the payee name is abbreviated or incomplete, it may defer your customers’ premium payment and affect their policies.
- Named personal cheque (issued by payor): No payment proof is required
- Unnamed cheque: banking statement showing the current account belonging to the payor
- Then, mark client full name, policy number, your staff code and Zurich missing payment on the back of the cheque.
- CS eform
- Submit the documents to CSD directly.Notify CSD to resume the direct debit procedure as normal for next month by sending service log.
By DDA payment
- Please notify your client to put sufficient funds in bank account.
- If no preferred collection date is selected, Zurich will automatically deduct one month outstanding premium from the client’s bank account on each HKDD run until all missing premiums are settled. (Updated: 4 Nov 2015)
- If the client has selected a preferred collection date, Zurich is only able to collect one month premium per month.Therefore, please notify CSD by phone one day prior to the collection day (or two days in advance if it is by service log) for cases where client wants to settle more than one missing premiums. - HKDD run schedule can be founded in Schedule of HKDD Payment.
By Bank Draft (Updated: 4 Nov 2015)
- Payee name: Zurich International Life Limited. Please note that any Chinese payee names are NOT acceptable.
- Bank’s receipt with policy owner’s full name, full account number, transaction date and transaction amount.
- For bank draft certified by bank on the back of the draft, the wording "purchased by" is not accepted by Zurich since this does not show that the money of the draft is withdrawn from the bank account of the client.
For Client using credit card

(1) Please notify your client to allow sufficient credit amount in the credit card.
(2) Notify CSD by sending service request with your client full name, policy number. CSD will request Zurich to debit. Please notify CSD by phone one day prior to the collection day (or two days in advance if it is by service log) for cases where client wants to resume the payment.resume the payment via the client’s credit card on the next CC run.
