Cancellation - Friends

Important Notice

1.  If you submit cancellation letter after the cooling-off period, SOD dept will not accept the letter and send it to FPI.  You should ask the client to apply for policy surrender.

2.  Hand in the cancellation letter & the original policy document to SOD department by hand directly

3.  Request the client to cancel the payment instruction set up by Direct Debit payment instruction, Credit Card Payment instruction, or Standing Order Instruction

Cooling Off Time

Within the earliest of 21 days from the date of (a) delivery of the Policy or (b) issue of a notice informing you or your representative about the availability of the Policy and the expiry date of the cancellation rights described in the policy provision.

Please note the extra points:

 The first date is already counted as Day 1.

Policyholder’s representative is OnePlatform.

Please submit the whole set of policy document and cancellation letter to SOD in hand by 5:00 pm of each working day.
